Good food an good service. Our waitress, Pita, was terrific.

This place never disappoints. The service is always fast. Never got something that wasn't good but they will make it right if there is something wrong. Never more than a few minutes for your food to come out.

We stopped in one afternoon because my son loves Mexican food. It was around lunchtime and the crowd wasn’t too bad, so we stoped. I was pleasantly impressed by the food. It was fresh and hot. Our entrees were delicious and ample. If we find ourselves nearby again, we will stop back in. Nice place, not fancy, but great food and servers.

First time I have been here. Waitress was nice. Service was good and price was normal for the area. Food was nothing special standard Americanized Mexican restaurant.

Completely horrid. The Loco Burrito felt like it had chicken bones, the T-bone steak was rubbery and the beans were extremely watered down. Waitress disappeared even though we sat there for a solid while waiting for our check. Service was lousy and they brought our food in-between lengthy intervals

This is our favorite place to grab a bite. Great food,workers and food and you can't beat the 2 for 1 drinks all day everyday.

We are new to town and have been to El Monte 3 times. Every time we have gotten consistently excellent food and service! It's quick, authentic, and very tasty. We are looking forward to becoming regulars!

Live here and terrible food. I'd rather drive the 20 minutes to the next closest town. Tried it twice incase we just had bad service but no just bad.

They’ve had their ups and downs but they’re currently, and for about a year now, my favorite Mexican restaurant without going to Nolensville Pike. Their menu is extensive, service is friendly and accurate (and they will actually substitute and customize as you specify if you ask), and anything you order is definitely what you hoped for. Tip them well, many of the employees there have been there for a while and they are great at their job and will appreciate your satisfaction. 10/10

I've been here several times and tried a number of menu items. So far, I've never been disappointed. The food is fresh and the service is friendly and efficient. The Jim's Nachos are a particular favorite! 😋

I ordered take out and had a burrito in my order. When I got home I thought that I'd just received the sides and not my burrito. When I called the manager was friendly and told me they'd make a replacement, no problem. Turned out that my first burrito was simply hiding under all of the toppings/sides. Great service (even when the customer is at fault) and good food.

They cannot even answer the phone

Idk why this place gets any reviews. We came in to eat and was told to sit where we would like. Thats always a + but not with this place. Waited over 30 minutes and never got our drinks taken!! We left and a table that was there before had the same problem but they had waited around the same time (before we came in) with absolutely nothing. (About 6 people, but still no drinks?!?!)

It was good food. Okay price. Didn't see much of the waiter though. Had to go up to the register to get the check and pay it. Usually at least the check is dropped off at the table and an offer of a to go box, but maybe this isn't normal. I've only eaten here once.

This restaurant was a nice surprise! My son moved to this area a few months ago & this was a closer restaurant than driving to my favorite Mexican restaurant in Nashville. It was a clean restaurant & service staff was friendly. Our food came fast. Although it was lunch time, the place wasn't crowded, but considering it was "off the beaten path", it was a good place to eat. Will definitely go there again, if I'm up that way.

This was final chance. Found hair in food, and watched our server (manager) continuously serve other tables after we said we were done and wanted our check. My son had to go up to register to get the check and pay. Will not return while that manager is still there. Service and product has seriously dropped since Bud left.

Good food and live 2 min from it. Not only food but best 2 for 1 deals all the time. What other Mexican restaurant sells margaritas 2 for 5.99. Others would charge you that for the price of one.

Service was excellent but food could have been better. Salsa tasted almost exclusively of cilantro (and I like cilantro) Chicken fajitas didn't have a lot of flavor and most of the meat was tough/dry.

The burrito rancheros were very delicious. They are large with full order so I had them for dinner next night. One half is recommend unless you are a heavy eater...LoL

Today was my first visit, stopped in for a carry out and it was ready in less than 10 minutes! I ordered the chicken enchiladas, they are freaking awesome. The staff was very nice and professional. I will definitely visit again

Great service and good food with plenty of it (including salsa and chips, of course). The staff has been friendly when I've been there - I like the way everyone works together to get the food out in a timely manner.
